Wellers Marathon MenOn a warm summer’s day last year, we decided to set ourselves a challenge and compete in the Virgin London Marathon 2010. There are four of us from Wellers Auctioneers in Chertsey, aiming to raise £1500 each for the Surrey Care trust. www.thesurreycaretrust.co.uk Creating opportunities and changing lives The Surrey Care Trust’s vision is to transform the life chances and aspirations of local people who are marginalised by disadvantage and lack of opportunity or who need a second chance.
We've had a good summer training programme although somewhat slowed down with Christmas and the snow! (and some over indulgence!) But we're back with a bang in 2010 and we're looking to raise our game and some cash. In 2010 we aim to hold other events to raise money such as Charity Auctions and other wild ideas! We will keep our page updated with any events we plan to hold and support is greatly appreciated.
Anything to help us with will be most appreciated and hope you will cheer us on the 25th April!
